The cowboy bebop cast is a live action recreation of the opening sequence from the animated Cowboy Bebop series. It was released on YouTube in July 2016, and has been viewed over 1 million times.
It’s difficult to imagine that the live-action Cowboy Bebop series is nearly upon us. As a much-loved series, there will undoubtedly be conflicting emotions of delight and trepidation. We’re all hoping for a fantastic adaption.
Some initial looks have already been published, but now we have an almost shot-for-shot replica of the animated opening sequence, complete with Yoko Kanno’s “Tank” theme performed by the Seatbelts.
COWBOY BEBOP is an action-packed space Western about three bounty hunters, often known as “cowboys,” who are all attempting to escape the past.
Spike Spiegel (John Cho), Jet Black (Mustafa Shakir), and Faye Valentine (Daniella Pineda) create a scrappy, sarcastic team eager to hunt down the solar system’s most dangerous criminals – for the right pay. However, they can only kick and quip their way out of so many scrapes until their pasts catch up with them.
